I was unaware they had a breakfast buffet, my wife snd I have only been there once. Their regular menu breakfasts are in line eith most family owned restaurants, satisfying and delicious. They have a Facebook page with all the info, menu's included.
A good local family
Yes, they do offer beer.
You met want to call
They have a breakfast buffet on weekends
Call the restraunt?
It has long been a favorite in our family. Sunday has been a regular day after worship services to gather there
We had breakfast, which is served all day. I find that meal to be a good bench mark for the rest of a restaurants menu. It was delicious; the ham and bacon were tasty, the eggs done to perfection, mine scrambled, my wife's over easy. For our toast we chose the white home-made, nearly an inch thick. My wife requested chocolate milk, the server said they only had one size, large. After my wife decided that was more than she wanted, the server, without us asking, spoke with the manager, and gave her a smaller portion at a pro-rated rate. The decor is cute, with 2 tiers of model trains circling the building on shelves about 8 & 9 feet off the floor. Some local rail road memorabilia, i.e. posters and chedules, as well as the trade mark water tower at the entrance, ang obligatory plaque explaining the depot's history, and a park benc in it's shadow, if want relax a bit.
We were there today and had the French Dip sandwich. It was delicious.
It was great as usual. Fun to see the miniature trains running, food was good as usual and a great dining experience.
Had breakfast hear the food was good but next time prob won't get the home made toast. Just a personal preference but it was like one inch thick which made it extremely chewy. Taste was good tho.👍
Attended a grad party here. Once we ordered ,the food got to us in a reasonable time. Waitress was not very personable and drinks weren't refilled very often. Food was good though.
Nice waitress. Good food good portions
Probably my favorite breakfast places on the way Up North. Their portions are generous, I love their sausage gravy (try The Engineer, my favorite omlette). They have several home made bread options, I love the fresh baked seeded rye which comes in thick toasted slices buttered just right. My boyfriend has the breakfast burrito, he liked it with a lot of fluffy fresh eggs and veggies. The service is fast and friendly, the place overall and the tables are clean. Love it
Excellent food and great prices. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. You definitely won't leave hungry. Great place with a homey feel. I highly recommend this restaurant. You may have a nee favorite I know that we do!
Very fast service and great food.
Loved the food, the service and the train!!! Definitely recommend
This was recommended by the the man and women who rent out boats. It was great, food was amazing, my only complaint was that I ordered french toast and it had a small taste of meat, probably from being cooked on the same surface. It was good though, everything seemed fresh. Waitress was good on checking our table, even being extremely busy. She told us Sundays are the busiest days,it was also father's day. We loved the train stuff, so much to look at, love the history of the place. Dinner for two cost us under 25$ , we both got breakfast/lunch so prices may vary.
I love the Depot! I had a visit in the past that left me sour on the Depot for years as the customer service was lacking - but my visit around Thanksgiving time was superb and my meal was fantastic! I got the biscuits and gravy and...WOW! Generous portions all around. Don't forget to get their homemade bread when it comes to ordering toast on the side.
Good food fast service
Great food. It's clean but casual. Staff is friendly. Food is like home cooked. Cute decor with a train theme
Quaint, small-town family-owned restaurant, renovated from an old train station. Good food, known for their sandwiches. Decent prices; early-bird breakfast specials and usually a daily lunch special. They also have baked goods for dessert or take-out, and hand-made shakes.
I really enjoy this restaurant. I love the train decor and the atmosphere in this place. The service here is outstanding and our waitress took great care of us keeping our drinks full and getting us to things that we need to have an enjoyable meal. The food is absolutely delicious and you won't leave hungry because the serving sizes are great. Wonderful place to eat I recommend the chicken fried steak especially and everything on the menu is wonderful. One of my favorite breakfast places and the pie is great too.
Great family friendly restaurant! The Depot features homemade pies and breads, a good selection of foods, and breakfast is an option all day. Our sevrer was friendly, and very capable. An excellent experience!
Food choices are plentiful & tasty! The wait staff is friendly & will be quick to refill coffee if warned at the time of ordering that you are a coffee hound!
Great character in the building and dining room. Old railroad feel. Staff was pleasant but it was a busy Sunday so service was delayed. Had to send the fried mushrooms back to get heated through. Reuben used to be better but doesn't have the same taste now. Parents loved the wet burritos.
Great affordable food, lots of character and the wait staff was awesome.
Great, friendly service. Delicious food with huge portions. Will definitely be going back.
Fast and friendly staff very good food, huge burgers
Omelette was great and my hash browns were golden.
Good food, great service, fair pricing. Worth the trip.
I was shocked at how professional the staff was the food was five star as well this is a place that I look forward to going back

Great food, Great service our crew stop there Everytime we work up in that area
This is by far, hands down, favorite place to eat in Michigan. Food good, prices good and love the decor.
Excellent breakfast with school staff.
Service was good has your typical greasy spoon menu....not that its a bad thing...if im in town ill go for a change.
The fried dill pickles are amazing here. Somehow the put cream cheese in them before frying them. Warning once you have their fried pickles every other fried pickle is sub par.
Trains History and Great Service. They have Amazing Food what a treat a must see and eat if your ever in the area you must stop in and try there amazing comfort cuisine.
Lots of character and history in addition to the great food. Prices were reasonable and the staff very friendly.
Nothing special. Normal breakfast menu, took awhile to get food, service was good though. Fair pricing.
Very nice atmosphere, clean, soft background music, attentive waitress. A place where u can talk with ur table mate, without having to compete with everyone else. Best meal we've had in a long time.
This is a great, themed local restaurant. The menu is standard to similar restaurants with sandwiches, dinner platters, and all day breakfast options. The prices are reasonable as well, ranging from about $6-$10 for most meals.
Great food, friendly workers, comfortable atmosphere. They still have the train.
We love it. Great food.and service!!!
For the first time being there, me and my son were very pleased. A little bit of a hiccup at first. But when the food came pretty quickly and my son trying a ruben for the first time. It was amazing. Fresh home made bread spot on. The price was was not out of your pocket. Thank you definitely will come back. Will also recommend this place as well.
Very good food
This place serves many excellent family meals, very comfy food. Nice wood decor.
Good food and service. Good variety. Old time atmosphere. I love it that it's a converted train depot.
